Rangnick equals 118-year-old Man Utd record

Manchester United's 1-0 win over Norwich City on Saturday evening saw interim boss Ralf Rangnick achieve the rare feat of keeping clean sheets in his first two league games in charge of the club.

Cristiano Ronaldo's 75th-minute penalty was enough to see the Red Devils edge past the Canaries at Carrow Road, making it two 1-0 wins from Rangnick's first two league games at the helm.

Remarkably, the German is only the second person to ever record clean sheets in both of their first two games as manager of Manchester United, and the first to do so for 118 years.

Man United now sit fifth in the Premier League table, level on points with fourth-placed West Ham United.

Rangnick will attempt to continue his 100% start to life as a Premier League manager when his side visits Brentford tomorrow.
