Lazio shows major interest in Kepa

Lazio is showing major interest in Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Il Corriere dello Sport says Lazio were ready to take the 27-year-old Spaniard on-loan in the winter transfer window - and remain keen.

Kepa is concerned about his place in Spain's World Cup squad for Qatar and so is considering his future at Chelsea, where he acts as cover for Edouard Mendy.

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri led Chelsea in the 2018/2019 season, where he worked with the Spanish goalkeeper.

An initial loan arrangement is being drawn up by Lazio for Chelsea's consideration.
