Ighalo heads to Eagles’ camp as Saudi top scorer

Odion Ighalo will head to the AFCON in Cameroon as top scorer in Saudi Arabia after he fired his 10th goal of the season for Al Shabab to come within a point of leaders Al Ittihad courtesy of a 3-1 home win.
Ighalo, 32, was Man of the Match with a goal and an assist against Al Taawon Monday night.
He opened scoring after 24 minutes and ensured a comfortable home win when he provided the assist for his team’s third goal eight minutes from time.
Al Shabab now have 28 points from 14 matches, a point behind Al Ittihad, who also have a game in hand.
