Aity Dennis lights up the Big Apple as AKISAN USA honours her

Award winning gospel music star and native of Akwa Ibom State, Aity Dennis, has added yet another trophy to her throve of awards during her recent summer tour.

Far away in Houston, USA, she was honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Akwa Ibom State Association of Nigeria, USA (AKISAN) during the recently concluded AKISAN convention held in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Addressing guests, organisers of the event stated that the award was in recognition of her contributions to the cultural heritage of Akwa Ibom State and the impact of her music career which spans over two decades.

During the tour, prolific Aity Dennis performed at the annual Celebrating Jesus Concert and the Adore Concert. She also performed at the African Christian Fellowship in Houston.

Among others, the Convention featured intellectual discourses, business and cultural engagements and provided a platform for the high ranking gospel music ambassador to lead the audience in praise and worship and it was fun and excitement all the way as Aity held the august audience of government officials and a section of the global community captive with her contemporary praise songs.

Away from the AKISAN command performance, the multi award winning gospel crooner jetted into the Big Apple (New York) last week where she broke the glass ceiling with her hit track, You Blow My Mind, as it was adopted as the theme song for the New York Festival of Praise, held in Hudson, New York. The artiste's one- month music tour of US cities ended with loads of testimonies from her fans who yearned for more.

Meanwhile, reliable sources have it that the indefatigable artiste is set to have a new video release on her arrival on the shores of Nigeria.
