African Print Party for Oriental Hotel

It will be an evening of fun and excitement, Saturday September 10 when the crème de la crème of the fashion industry storm the ballroom of Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
Speaking , convener of the event, Dr. Emmanuel Odole described the event as an upscale show billed to celebrate the creativity, aesthetics, finesse, styles and quality of African fabrics.
He said: “The objective of The African Prints Party is to bring out the best in African designers with a view to appreciating professional creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. September 10 promises to be a night of fun and excitement! We are celebrating and rewarding creativity in the fashion industry. It will attract the crème de la crème of the fashion industry alongside high net-worth personalities in media, arts, tourism and business.
“The climax of the occasion will be the fantastic N.1m cash prize for the guest dressed in the best African print-attire or accessory.”
Among others, the show will also honour several notable popular fashion icons for their contributions to the industry through recognition awards.
Dr. Odole added that the exhibition which is strictly an African Prints fashion idea is open to all genres of African creative including shoes, Baltic, Kente, Aso Oke and Adire among others.
Odole added that the event’s Black Carpet interaction will be preceded by a Marketplace where guests can purchase authentic creations. He also added that the organisers have also created an Afterparty segment for the event.
